Renowned Spanish fashion designer Adolfo Dominguez on his recent trip to Kuwait, to visit Adolfo Dominguez outlets managed and franchised on his behalf by Gulf Franchising Company (GFC), shared with the media his views and vision on fashion, style and future trends. Highlighting the minimalist and functional styles that characterize his brand, Mr Dominguez stressed the importance he attaches to sober lines that lend an austere, elegance-seeking beauty in his designs. He believes that his characteristic designs will appeal to local tastes, especially seeing how people in the region are more attuned and sensitive to nuances of beauty and art.

With a total of 558 exclusive outlets around the world, the brand is expected to continue to strengthen its foothold in the region through its collaboration with GFC. The first outlet in the UAE for Adolfo Dominguez opened in March at the Dubai Mall; GFC now plans to introduce the brand to Iran later this year at a prime location in Tehran. The Store will focus on offering the up-market Adolfo Dominguez main label along with other affiliated Adolfo Dominguez lines, such as like ‘U’ – the casual youth range, ‘Plus’ – the women’s-wear large-sized range, ‘Salta’ – the sports and lifestyle range, as well as a range for kids and fashion accessories.
